Instagram Update

So I picked up my car from BK Industries last week. Hadn't driven it since October.

He raised it up to save my oil pan and transmission. I figured there's no point in lowering it back down until I put my new coilovers on. This thing really needs body work and paint.

I made a very dumb call during the swap. I figured, "the stock clutch looks good and it should be able to handle a stock motor with bolt ons just fine." The clutch started slipping on the first day.

On the second day, Pete and I were headed up the mountain for a bon fire. I decided to drive the s14 but take it eeeezzz. I wasn't drifting or doing sweet gun its. 5 minutes up the hill (just after putting gas in) the fuel pump dies. Brand new Walbro's apparently last a full 50 miles. So I hopped in his car, bon fired, then picked up my mom's van to tow it off the mountain.

I kept it at Pete's for a few days then Curt helped me tow it home. Fortunately my clutch and fuel pump replacements should be here this week. Hopefully I'll have enough time to get it all done this weekend.

Farewell

Nostalgia

Some pictures of the old setup.

Update time on my car(if anyone cares). Traded the Celica Supra for a set of CE28's so I'll be getting those on in the next few weeks. After that I will be saving money for motorcycle travel and hoping to do All Star Bash this October with Derek. We have tossed around the idea of selling ASB edition stickers to help fund the trip so let us know if you would be interested!

FDLBC Pt2... only two months late

Saw this corolla in the parking garage, but I couldn't take a good picture because we were running late and about to miss the elevator.

This guy spent a few solid minutes trying to see as much of Daigo Saito's motor as possible.

George and his fc.

On that VIP tip

My 54 KH is done and I love it already. Picked it up from Matt at Wrecked Metals this past week and here's the first picture of it. I'm sure there will be plenty more to come!
